Art Competition

Stay Tuned for the Upcoming Congressional Art Competition!

About the Art Competition

Each Spring, members of the U.S. House of Representatives sponsor a nationwide high school art competition. The Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage artistic talents across the United States. High school students in the Fifth Congressional District of Florida can participate in the Artistic Discovery Competition through Congressman Rutherford’s Office.

The winning artwork will be displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol for millions of visitors to see.  The Washington Exhibit will include winning artwork from all participating districts.  All winning artwork will be featured by state on the House Congressional Art Competition page: https://www.congressionalinstitute.org/how-to-enter/.

Student submissions do not need to be framed to be accepted.
