Rutherford Visits Auto Masters Fleet Services
For another Rutherford Ride Along, I spent a morning with David Stringfield and his team at Auto Masters Fleet Services in Jacksonville.
His shop has grown exponentially since the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and he has reinvested in his business to provide additional training, hire new employees, and even build new mechanic work space. I learned how the job of an auto mechanic has changed over the years as technology progresses – from wrenches to computers! Advancedcomputer analytics saves time, leads to cleaner operating vehicles, allows for better fuel efficiency, and ultimately saves the client money.
He also explained how a booming economy creates an environment for banks and business owners to make larger investments with the confidence that it will pay off in the long run. I thank David and his hard-working team for showing me the ropes and explaining how I can work in Congress to help small and growing businesses like Auto Masters Fleet Services.
